Augmented Reality. Live virtual world
Everyone who is reading this article must have seen a movie that shows a computer animated character, talking with a real person. The way they film this is by filming the actual person without the virtual character, then they motify the film digitally. However, “Augmented reality” actually allows us to interact with a virtual character in special screen, LIVE!
Now how augmented reality works is that the camera reads the special chip, or it reads the reality world and it figures out a character to blend in to it. You can’t see this “virtual character” with naked eye. You need a screen, or a special designed goggle to see this character.
This technology isn’t fully developed. However people used this technology to make a video game. How this game works is that the special goggle motifys the world you see around you into a game. So you will actually be in the game. If this technology advances more, the first person shooting game will actually turn into “real first person shooting game” where you will actually have to move around.

I THINK I FOUND A WAY TO MAKE SOMETHING INVISIBLE!!
Some science fiction movies show a character that is invisible to the human eye. However, being invisible seemed impossible to the reality world. Scientists kept finding a way to make something invisible or make an object that can camouflage itself. However, no one has ever found a way to make something invisible. Believe it or not, I think I found a way to make something INVISIBLE! Trust me! It will work! And I will do a science fair project next year based on this idea!
I know it might sound crazy but I strongly believe that my theory would work, so stay with me and do not stop reading this article. Lets say that there is a specially designed sheet of paper. The reason why this paper is special is because one side of the paper is a screen that projects the image. Lets name this page “page 1″. However on the other side of the paper is a tiny microscopic cameras covering the page. In fact, the camera is so tiny that it can’t be seen unless you look carefully. Lets name this side of the page “page 2″ If the “page 1″ (screen), projects the image from the image of ”page 2″ (camera sided page) , the paper would be “invisible”, since it is projecting the image behind the paper. Right? Isn’t it quite logical???
In order to make this more advanced, I believe that the “screen” should be on both side of the paper, and “cameras” should also be on both side of the paper. The image projected from the “screen” would be less clearer because of cameras blocking a bit of image. It would look a bit like “Mosaic” however I believe it would still work.

To 2D or 3D… That is the Question
As you all know, printers that we commonly use are 2D. The way to tell this is that the image made by the printer only has width and length, but it doesn’t have the “height”. Also the image that the printer prints out is only printed on a flat surface. Also you are not able to interact physically with the image. However, is it possible for us to print out a 3D object?
Like I said before, in order to print out a “3d” image or an object, you need a height. With a normal printer, it is impossible, since the paper itself is 2d. However, with a special Z 450 printer, we are now able to print out an “Object”
Believe it or not, Z 450 printer and other “3D printer” use a powder and a binder cartridge in order to print out a 3D image. How it works is that it prints out each layer of the object that you want to print out. For example, if you want to print out 3D object of a ball, the printer first print out a bottom layer of the ball and it prints out another layer on top of the bottom layer. The printer repeats this step until it prints out the top layer. This means that this printer can also print out height, which would make the object 3D. This step would probably take about several hours instead of a couple of days. When you open the printer after it finishes printing out the object, you would see a white box formed with powder. If you dig the box of powder carefully, you will find the object that you printed out. All the powder that are left on the printer are completely re-useable
Samsung F700 Phone… Another Gadget, that will Shock You…
WARNING: For those of you who have Iphone, please don’t read this article, since it might shock you and you would regret purchasing the Iphone.
Samsung, full of ambition to compete against the apple company, came up with a phone that is enable with touch screen, camera, internet, and lots of different cool applications. This stylish and sleek looking phone seems to grab people’s attention these days.
You might be wondering that all cool features that This phone has isn’t that different than the Iphone. However, the feature of this phone seems endless. First of all, this phone has “HSDPA” service (7.2 Mbps), which enables the user to download Mp3 file as fast as 4.4 seconds! Also unlike Iphone, it has a PC looking software, which makes this more stylish looking phone. Another unique feature of this phone is that It has 5 megapixel with auto focus, Led Flash light, and other cool features that most of the digital camera has. This phone also has google map, document viewer, and even Bluetooth 2.0, which allows the user to connect this phone with 2 devices at once.
For those people who use Iphone, or Itouch, let me ask you this question. Have you ever been annoyed when you are trying to type something with a touch pad? Well Samsung came up with a genius plan. They added a slide able built-in keypad, which makes writing an e-mail, or writing a document easier.

Bluetooth
Bluetooth is one of many modern technologies that are commonly being used. Bluetooth is basically a short distance (within 10m. range) data transferring technology. It is quite convenient. However, the data transferring speed is slower than WIFI, used for wireless internet technology. Bluetooth is commonly used for communicating via cell phones that are paired with Bluetooth headset. This enables Bluetooth users to make a phone call, without using actual cell phone, but just by using a Bluetooth headset.
Bluetooth is not only used to ease the inconvenience of using cell phones but also used to connect devices together without using wires. People can transfer files wirelessly between 2 Bluetooth enabled devices. Transferring a small file might be convenient. However, transferring a file with huge memory, like movies, would be difficult since the speed of Bluetooth isn’t that great.
Already, so many people are enjoying this practical technology, myself included. I strongly believe that the amount of people who would use this technology will rise continuously. I have a Bluetooth mp3 (Samsung T9), and a Bluetooth stereo headset (Jabra BT 620s). When I am listening to a music through the stereo headset, I don’t need to worry about tangled wires or keeping track of where mp3 player is, since I am able to control everything through Stereo headset. This is because the stereo headset has buttons that enable you to play, stop, change track, as well as changing the volume Even though Bluetooth might be slower than WiFi technology, it is still commonly being used because of its convenience in experiencing wireless technology.
Next year, next month, next week, or even tomorrow, the usage of this amazing technology will improve. We will no longer see any wires in devices. We will no longer carry all of our appliances, since this Bluetooth technology will allow us to connect to our appliances wirelessly.

Samsung S5
Samsung makes 3 MP3s, which are commonly known as “The iPod killer.” or “The iPod exterminator.” Those 3 MP3s are “Samsung S5”, “Samsung T10”, and “Samsung P2”. Personally, I am one of the fans of Samsung’s MP3, because “Samsung,” the company itself, is from
S. Korea, which is where I am from, and I basically love all the products that they make. Among all the MP3s, I am going to write a product review about the “Samsung S5.” Samsung wanted to make an MP3 that is unique, special, and something out of the ordinary. They also wanted people to be able to share music, other than using ear buds because they are for individual use only. They also wanted people to have freedom from earphone wires tangling around the MP3 by making Bluetooth enabled Mp3. The MP3 player that they came up with is called the “Samsung S5”
When I first saw the S5, I was just amazed at how brilliant the idea of this MP3 was. The uniqueness and the sleekness of this MP3 was just unbelievable. The difference between the S5 and other iPods is that the S5 has a built in speaker. You can slide out the speaker from the MP3, just like in the picture below. Another difference is that Bluetooth is enabled on this MP3. This allows the user to use a stereo headset to listen to music, or to use this mp3 as a speaker phone, since the microphone and the speaker are built in. The version of the Bluetooth on this Mp3 is 1.2, which is the older version of 2.0. However, the only difference on the version is that on 1.2, you are only allowed to “pair” up with one stereo headset, while on 2.0, you are able to pair up with 2 stereo headsets. The last difference is that you can listen to the radio without buying an FM tuner, and you can watch movies with speakers.
Even though the S5 might be called an iPod killer, there are still some parts or tools that are unique to only the iPod. First of all, as the new iTouch came out, iPod users are now able to go on the web using Wifi technology and they can download applications for their iPod. Also, they are now able to download songs straight from the web. However, I still believe that Samsung S5 might be able to take the lead in a matter of uniqueness and effectiveness.
