21 movie
(spoiler warning)
Black Jack is probably one of the easiest card game in the world. All the player have to do is make 21 number by adding all the cards together. All the numbers are worth its number and Jacks, Queens, and Kings are all worth 10 points.. However, Ace is worth either 1 point or 11 points. If the cards you have is over 21, you fold.
Ben Cambell is a student in MIT. His brain is not like other people’s ordinary brain. He has a gifted ability to think mathmatically in his brain. However he didn’t relized his special gift untill Micky Rosa, who is one of Ben’s professor, tells Ben about his special ability. Ben wants to go to Harvard’s medical school. However, he does not have enough money to go to Harvard.
Ben was then introduced into a special group formed by Micky, that studies blackjack. This special group guarantees Ben with a high profit. Ben struggles to make a right decision to choose either his friendship with his best friends or his money to get in to Harvard. Soon, he decides to join the group. What this group are studying is not just an ordinary blackjack. They are studying how to break blackjack system. These techniques involved finding the count of the blackjack dealer’s deck and then signaling to other team members in the area when the deck count was high. These signals were as simple as coming up with a word to represent each number (stool=3, luck=7, witch=13, ect) and then using the imformation to tell other person the count of the deck in order for other person to make a huge profit.
After learning how to count cards from the group, he goes to Vagas among other group members and Micky. In Vagas, he experiences new life, love, and invincibility. However, soon he finds out the consequence of going too far with blackjack.
People have a prejudice that all the card games like Black jack, that requires money, is a gambling. However, this movie proved that all the things around us can be described mathmatically. In the end, all the money that Ben make by Blackjack gets stolen. This proves that whatever happens in Vagas, stays in Vagas.

What I think of the ending of the movie “I am legend” should be
I am legend is a movie based on a book. It is kind of a movie that lets the people who are watching to think about it for a while after the movie. Some people loved the movie. However, I didn’t really like it. In fact, I hated the ending. On this new post, I am gonna share it with you about what the alternative ending should be, including some basic story at the beginning for those of you who have never seen a movie before. (spoiler warning)
As the technology evolved, so did the medicines and medical technology. In fact, people found a cure for cancer. For some people, it was a dream come true. However, what goes up has to go down. The cure for cancer actually brought in more deadly virus. This virus mutates the carrier into a zombie like creature. Once the charactger mutates, he has to avoid the ultra-violate light and has to live in the dark. Some people were evacuated. However, the spread of the virus continued. The evacuation failed and the only person without the virus was Dr. Robert Neville.
Dr. Robert Neville lives in a ground zero, trying to find a cure. He always work when the sun is up in the sky for a safety. He broadcast a radio to find any survivors that are hiding. After a while, when Dr. Robert Neville looses all his hope after a death of his dog, 2 survivors appear. Those 2 survivors were brought into Dr.Robert Neville. However they were followed by the people who were infected. The reason why those people that are infected followed them was because of an infected person that Dr. Robert Neville keep in his lab to find a cure. All of the sudden, Dr. Robert Neville and 2 survivors were attacked by the infected, so they lock themselves in a lab with a bullet proof window surrounding them. Then they realize that the infected person that Dr. Neville was working on was recovering from the virus. After finding out one person is recovering the virus, he yell to the infected people that he can help them but no one listens.
In a real ending, Dr. Neville takes some blood out of the recovering person because the blood of the patient have a resistance to the virus and give it to 2 survivors. Then he ask them to hide behind a tunnel. Then he use his grenade and sacrifice himself to kill all the infected people that are surriounding him. After all the infected people that are in the lab are dead, 2 survivors come out and finds a land where uninfected people lives and give them the blood that the recovering person owned. (sounds quite devestating that the ending is short right? Here is my ending)
All the infected people that are surrounding are hitting themselves against the window to get Dr. Neville. Dr. Neville could not think of anything so he picks up his pistol to kill himself with 2 survivors. He counts the ammunition he have in his gun. There were only 2 bullets left, which was not enough for all of them. 2 survivors beg him to shoot them so Dr. Neville gives them the gun to make them kill themselves. Eventually infected people break the window and surrounds Dr. Neville, Surprisingly, the infected people don’t attack Dr. Neville. In fact, they are able to communicate with him. They don’t have the ability to talk like uninfected people. However they can read, write, and listen. The leader of the infected people write a letter to him, telling him that the life as an infected person is much better than the live without carring a virus. Dr. Neville struggles to make a decision. After a long struggle in his mind, thinking about what he should do, Dr. Neville finally makes a decision. He slowly pulls out a knife that he was holding in his pocket and cut the throat of the infected boss. Then as all the other infected people were about to kill Dr. Neville, Military shows up and terminates all the infected people that were surrounding Dr. Neville. Dr.Neville was puzzled at first because he thought that there weren’t any more survivors. However the military explains that they were living underground untill Dr. Neville found the cure for the virus. They were monitering Dr. Neville every day untill he found a cure. Dr. Neville was brought underground and shares his idea for vaccine to the president of the United States and all the other scientists.

“Fake Tales of San Fransisco” is quite a good song. However I rated it 10th because it sounded more like Franz Ferdinand’s style, which I don’t really like because they sound little bit like a joke. “I Bet that You Look Good on the Dance Floor” has a good guitar solo. However, Alex’s vocal sound was hard to hear because of the drum and guitars in the background. “Only Ones Who Know” is quite a slow and romantic music. I actually loved it, but there are other songs that are much better. I used to be addicted to “When the Sun Goes Down” and I really enjoyed it. Its rhythm is really addicting and it is kind of a song that will be stuck in your head for a while. However, after I watched the music video, I started to hate it because when ever I hear this song, it reminds me of the music video. “Teddy Picker” is quite unique. It has a repetitive guitar sound on the background and Alex sings extremely fast. This grabbed my attention and made it special for me. That is why I really enjoyed the song. “Brianstorm” is more like hard rock. In the beginning, the blasting sound rocks your head and then the lyrics of the song is quite funny. Also the bass solo is one of my favorite part of the song. I am able to play “Dancing Shoes” on guitar pretty well. I love the solo part of the song, and if you listen to the lyrics carefully, there is a message from Alex, telling you to try to dance with another person. (Well that’s my opinion) The title is weird but listen to it. you will really enjoy it. “A Certain Romance” has an amazing introduction at the beginning. Then, it gets into a quiet and rhythmic guitar sound. Whenever I listen to it, I always think of the Central Park. At the end of the song, Arctic Monkeys plays a blasting melody. “From the Ritz to the Rubble” starts with Alex’s solo. Then drum and bass joins in. This music is something that is hard to explain, yet it still is really good so. “Leave Before the Lights come on”. No.1 on my list. I used to hate this song. However, as I listen to it numerous times, I began to sing the lyrics and now, I listen to it all the time. If I were to recommend a good song by the arctic monkeys to another person, I would recommend this song.

Music Artist Struggle
Before I walk out my house, I always grab 2 useful devices. They are my cell phone and my MP3 player. As soon as I step outside, I put the headphones on my year and listen to numerous songs by different artists. Most of the artists that I listen to is well known artists that my friends also listen to. For me, I never listen to a music made by non-famous artist. However, what makes those artists that I listen to, so famous?
Many artists are struggling these days because of music sharing programs that are popular to many people these days. Their musics are constantly being downloaded illegally because we are living in the age of the internet. Also many artists have difficulties of spreading their existance. However things are not working out. They try to perform on a radio station but soon their work is quickly spread through the internet. Tours or concerts that they perform are unsuccessful because their names are not spread through the world. For them, the world is unfair.
Famous artists on the other hand is doing pretty well. Even though some people download their music off the internet illegally, some people download their music off itunes, which is legal music downloading program, to give some respect to the artist. Also the tours that they make around the world is generally successful. The way that they became successful is simple. In order to be successful for music artists, instead of caring about the money they make, they need to care more about satisfying the listener who are spending their time and money to listen to them.
The band called The Arctic Monkeys, which is my favorite band of all time, was famous around the internet because of their unique name and their extraordinary songs. People loved it. Their names and songs quickly spreaded through out the internet. Soon, people from all around the world desperately wanted to see their live performance. After a few performance, the arctic monkeys began to record limited amount of demo CDs and gave them away for free to the people who came to their performance. People who received their demo CDs uploaded them on their computers and shared it through out the web. If it was a different artist, they would be furious about this behavior. However the Arctic Monkeys did not mind. In fact they thought it was a better way for people to hear more about them. Arctic Monkeys began playing through the radio station and people began to know more and more about them, until they became one of the top bands in Britain.
Arctic Monkeys’ attitude made them feel more closer and closer to the people who are their fans. Their attitude is what other artists should follow. In fact, I believe that for the artists, making other people to share their music isn’t always a disadvantage for them. It is actually a huge advantage to them, since more people will know their name and more people will enjoy their music and will come to their live performance. Then if they really enjoy the artist’s music, they will purchase their music in appreciation of the artist’s work.

“Help…I am living in Spain and trying to connect a Inves Bluetooth Speaker (JS1219WA) to my Macbook Pro 17 with system 10.4.11 and have successfully linked the device but can’t get the speaker to recognize my Mac. I have restarted the Mac and turned the device on and off but to no avail…
The instructions are totally in Spanish and I have been using an on line translator to get me this far. It’s searching but not finding (red and blue lights flashing)…I figured out enough that I know I need the blue lights to flash only when I have a connection. Usually Mac stuff is so easy!!! Any ideas?? Any help will be greatly appreciated.”s
If your Macbook Pro 17 is properly connected with Inves Bluetooth Speaker (JS1219WA), there should be the sign up on the screen, indicating that your devices are connected. If you don’t see the sign, follow the step that I list below.
1. on your Macbook Pro, go to “system preference”
2. On “system perference” find an icon called “Bluetooth” (It will be under Hardware tab)
3. Once “Bluetooth” screen pops up, click “Settings” Once you are on settings, click “Turn Bluetooth On” After you do this, you might want to put a tick mark on “Show Bluetooth status in the menu bar”,”Allow Bluetooth Devices to wake this computer” ,”Discoverable”, etc.It is recommended you put tickmark on every box.(if you do put a tick mark, it will be more convenient on future use of bluetooth because you will be able to go straight into bluetooth menu by clicking bluetooth mark on status bar)
4. Go to “Devices” and click “set up a new device”
5. Click continue once and you will see tick mark with “mouse, keyboard, mobile phone, printer, headset, any device” I’m 90% sure that you should click headset on this case since you are gonna use a speaker, but Also try “any device” just in case.
6. DO NOT PRESS CONTINUE YET! Before you press continue, Make sure your speaker is on “pairing” status or make it some how discoverable. If you don’t know how to make your speaker into a “pairing” status, read the instruction or manual that your speaker came with. Now, you told me that you are using spanish speaker and you are using translator to translate it for you. (I heard that translator actually don’t work well but w/e) If you have some trouble reading the manual, here is way to make most of bluetooth device into a “pairing” status. Press and HOLD (it is important that you hold it) “multifunction” button for at least 10 seconds until it shows some light. Now you are on “pairing status” (depending on the device, the type of light it produce is different) After you go through all this, press continue.
7. Now your Mac will search the device for you. once it finds it, just follow the instruction the wizard gives you and you are done!
For more information, click “HERE” to watch a video of a person pairing his Mac to another device using Bluetooth. I have never heard of a speaker with your model name. I’m also not sure if your speaker is made by trustworthy company. If you still can’t pair it after the instruction I provided you, return your product and buy a new one. Here is a list of good bluetooth speaker.
1. Samsung BS300 (It is extremely protable and sleek looking speaker. It is very trustworthy. I mean comeon~! Its SAMSUNG!)
2.Nokia MD-5W (It is not that portable, but Im sure that sound quality is amazing and it is trustworthy because it is made by Nokia)

Audio Spotlight is a speaker made by Holosonics, that converts the “sound” or “sound wave” into a laser like beam and shines it into a certain area. By doing so, only people or object that the “Audio Spotlight” is shining at is able to hear the sound. This allows the people who are on the area of “Audio Spotlight” to be able to listen to a music, while people out of the area to do their own business without being distracted by the music. The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night- Time
Christopher Boone is a unique youth who is struggling in autism. Every day is new to him because there are numerous things around him that he does not get. One day Christopher finds a dog next door named Wellington murdered. Christopher is different than all the other people. He is horrified by certain colours or certain level of noise and He is unable to read how other people feels about him. He hates being touched, and he does not understand the feelings that other people get. His autism causes him to have a temporary shock if he is affected by something. Not only his autism is a disadvantage to him, he also get a huge benefit from autism. He is extraordinary in math problems and his ability to think is endless.
In this novel, there are numerous interesting events. First, while Christopher tries to find out how Wellington got murdered, It shows how Christopher interacts the environment around him and how he interacts with nature around him. Secondly, this book is written in Christopher’s point of view. This makes it much more interesting and shows the uniqueness of this book. Lastly, the love from Christopher’s dad made this book into a better quality.
The story takes place on a scene where christopher finds the murder of a poodle named Wellington. Christopher then decides to find out who murdered Wellington. Because of his autism, he avoids accepting a fact from others. However he still gets help from his school teacher, Siobhan
Christopher’s dad wants to stop his son from going further with his investigation. Christopher’s dad is simply caring and loving his son. However on christopher’s mind, he does not understand what the word love means. On his investigation, he finds a true fact about his mother’s death and he finds out the murderer of the poodle.
One thing that this book will shock the reader is that during the novel, there are numerous math equations, patterns, or about what christopher is thinking. For some people, his thinking may not be interesting. However for Christopher, these thoughts are one factor that makes up his life or what he is interested in. Even though his thoughts might not be interesting, I believe that we should still be interested on sharing his thoughts. By reading this book, I understood how the people autism feel about the environment around the world and this book really stirred my mind.
How to Pair a Device Using Bluetooth
Hello bloggers! I read through the keywords that you guys searched to access my blog. Then I realised that most of you used keywords such as “bluetooth” “samsung s5″ “ipod samsung” “facebook” or “cyber- bullying” It is quite surprising how unique all those keywords are.
Anyways the number of people who accessed my blog because they had trouble with pairing or connecting a device using bluetooth was outrageously high! Don’t worry, because I am here to help you
For cell phone to bluetooth headset (For me, I use Motorola RAZR with Jabra Bt620s):
1. Press and hold the Multifunction button in the middle of a headset. (The button may be different, depending on the device you are using. If you are having trouble of finding the right button, look at the manual of the device you are using.) The light will glow blue. For Jabra BT620s, you hold “call answer/end button” (left side) for at least 10 seconds untill the blue light constantly appears.(It is important that you hold the button and do not let go) This mode your headset is in right now is called “Pairing mode”
2. Go to bluetooth setting on your cellphone
3. Find Handsfree menu
4. Click “Look for device” button (The cellphone will search the headset for you, so let it do its job)
5. When the cellphone finds your device, click on it (The cellphone will pair it)
6. When cellphone is paired, it will ask for a pin number or password. Usually most of the pin number of the headsets are 0000 (zero, zero, zero, zero) Type the pin number and press ok
7. your cell phone is now paired with the headset
For samsung s5 with Jabra Bt 620s (Samsung s5 CAN NOT be paired with “Bluetooth Headset”. It can ONLY be paired with “Bluetooth Stereo headset”)
For samsung s5, it is extremely easy to pair with another device.
1. But your bluetooth stereo headset on pairing mode
2. Go to bluetooth menu and samsung s5 will turn on bluetooth menu itself
3. Click “Stereo Headset”
4. Let samsung s5 to search your device
5. Once it detects the device, click on it (It may or may not ask for pin number)
6. Your samsung s5 is now connected to stereo headset. If your samsung s5 is also connected to the cellphone, you can listen to a music through s5 and you can also receive calls using your stereo headset.
This is basically the way you pair your bluetooth device. If you still have a problem connecting your bluetooth device to another device, just leave a comment and I will do my best to find a solution for you. Thanx
