Breaking News!: Disney Channel is brainwashing little kids?

Lets face it. There is no doubt that Disney Channel is brainwashing little kids. We all heard about Jonad Brothers, Miley Cyrus, and Hannah Montana. We heard them from little kids, and we heard them from MTV or even from the American Eagles. We hear these horrible blast of glass breaking voice coming out from the speaker. To me, It sounds nothing like an ordinary teenager singing a pop song, but for some teenage girls, they believe that it is a work of art.

I researched about Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus, and Hannah Montana as soon as I came home. I wanted to find out what makes them so special. According to my “research”, they were all in the disney channel. I respect Disney Channel. I respect them because when I was a kid, I had so much fun watching animated movies made by Disney. However when it came down to music, I personally think it is just a joke. Also some song analyzers found out that most of them were faking the guitars when they were performing live. There are reports from some families saying that their kids wanted to become a rockstar ever since they listened to disney artists.

Here are the artists that I highly respect. Arctic Monkeys, Led Zeppelin, and Pink Floyd. They really devote themselves into music. They do not show off unlike Jonas Brothers, who always shows off. Disney Channel is working hard to make their artists to be the best in the music industry. However They will never be able to catch up to the real artists, who have a strong passion to music.

As a teenager, Youtube is one of my favorite sites that I go on while I am web-surfing. However, I used to only “watch” the video, but i did not “upload” any. I bet that all of you who are reading this article never uploaded any videos on Youtube before. Here is an advice for you. Upload something. Upload and see who is viewing your video, and to see what country your video is issued in.

Currently, I posted 3 videos on You Tube. They are all guitar cover videos, and I covered mostely Arctic monkeys music. Surprisingly, my video is famous in Belgium XD

Some people might think that Youtube is just another web streaming video site. However, as a youtube blogger, Youtube is my way of expressing to the world. Its my way of connecting to the world.

As you know, Georgia (country) is issued in todays society cause of war. When police are called to subdue a person acting aggressively, they have at least six choices. They can talk with him, physically bring him down, use the pepper spray, use baton, use their fire arms, or they can use the Tazer. However, this Tazer gun has came to an issue after the tragic death of Robert Dziekanski.

Robert Dziekanski was 40 years old polish immigrant. When he came to Vancouver airport, he was unable to understand English, and no one was there to help him. In fact, he was stuck in the airport for 10 hours. He was unable to wait any longer in the airport. He began pounding on windows and throwing chairs and computer equipment. Then the police was brought him to subdue his behavior.

As soon as the police was brought in, they first surrounded him and shot a Tazer gun without any hesitation. Before police tazered Robert, he surrendered to police and seemed to calmed down. However, police tazered him twice even though Robert D was no harm to the police. Unfortunately, taser gun took Robert’s life.

Police have done the right decision in bringing him down because Robert D was acting aggressively. However it seemed to me that the police was only thinking about the worst thing that could have happened to them, because of all the experience that they had with other criminals. Taser gun is extremely dangerous to people with pre- medical condition. More than 245 people around the world have already lost their lives because of this taser gun. Also police are learned not to use them to the people who looks ill. Robert Dziekanski was in the airport for 10 long hours, and no one asked him if he needed any help. This might have stressed him, to cause this behavior.

The problem with the security is that the surveillance camera didn’t recognize him standing in the airport for 10 hours. What would have happened if it was a criminal, standing in the airport for 10 hours and no one was able to find him? In my opinion, instead of tasering him, police should have first brought in the translator, or they should have used other way to bring him down. I also believe that Robert D.’s death is not only caused by the police’s decision of tasering him. His mother should have called the airport and told them that her son doesn’t understand English. Also Robert D’s mother should have arrived at the airport without being late.

Robert D.’s death will effect the usage of the Taser gun. However, I strongly anticipate that this will effect the police training in using the taser gun. Taser gun is meant to save lives not to take them.

Everyone has their own war. They fight for freedom, justice, religion, and even love. Even myself is in a war. Believe it or not, Im in a war for freedom, for good grades, and for happiness.

I fight for freedom. I fight for freedom as in freedom from school. I respect my school. It teaches me wisdom and they are generally there to make me succeed in my life. However, it is followed by a great stress, caused by homework and assignments. The way I fight is, I try to finish all my assignments quickly and effectively in order to gain freedom.

I fight for good grades. I fight to get the alphabet “A” on my report card. Not “B”, or even “C”. I fight by studying hard, and completing all my assignments. So far, I am winning the war.

I fight for happiness. It is irnoic because war brings out tragedy, anguish, and sorrow. The reason why I “fight” for happiness is because, happiness is valuable, yet it is challenging to pursue it. That is why I have to fight for it.

This is my war. What is yours?

Would it be outrageous to say that us human beings live in a pattern? We all do the same after generations to generations. While we live, we eat, work, and then we sleep. We eat without actually enjoying what we eat, and we work without being satisfied by what we are working, and we sleep without realizing that by sleeping, we are getting a step closer to our death.

Would it be outrageous to say that human beings are disease? Everyday, we are poluting our environment, and we constantly use up non-renewable energys. We are basically a disease to this planet.

Would it be outrageous to say that human beings are brutal? We see people in need everyday. We see them in the street, subway, and we see them on TV. However, people just ignore them. We have seen war, but we never stopped seeing them. It seems to me that we are seeking for war.

Now, would it be outrageous to say that us human beings are screwed up? If you are reading this article, please do this for me. Please, make every second of your life meaningful to not just you, but even to the others. Devote yourself to the world. Make a positive difference.

This means take your lover’s heart while you can, since tomorrow, will always be different, and make your life different and extraordinary. Or in Latin term, “Carpe Diem” seize the day. If you have a secret crush, go ahead. Ask them out and tell them you love them before it is too late.

Of course Carpe Diem is not mainly about love, and it is not about doing what ever you want. It is about seizing the day. It’s about living every moment of your life enjoyable, just like there is no tomorrow. Carpe Diem is also one of my motto. Carpe Diem was also the reason why I joined the rugby team. I thought that I was going to suck out all the marrow out of life by trying to play rugby, and I did. I began to realize what I really wanted to do. Now, my dream is to be a professional rugby player

Humans are living our lives to pursue our dream and to find something interesting. Believe it or not, hour heart will one day turn cold and we will die. Make the remaining of your lives extra ordinary.

My parents always told me to achieve my childhood dreams. My parents told me to achieve my childhood dreams because childhood dreams are almost certainly my passion. However, I never tried to achieve my childhood dreams because there were always some brick walls that blocked me from achieving my childhood dream and my passion. Here are my passions: meeting new people, surviving while being independent, and I always wanted to achieve something that I will be proud of myself like running a marathon.

When I was young, I wanted to become a taxi driver. Not because I wanted to drive a car, but it was because I wanted to meet a new people and talk with them. Human being is gifted with the ability to communicate and talk. God only gave human being this ability, so we should use it well and be thankful to what we have. As I became older, I began to realize that being a taxi driver wouldn’t make my life happy, so I decided that being a taxi driver will happen after my retirement. However, I realized that I can still meet new people if I get other jobs like being a doctor, lawyer, or even a teacher.

I love being Independent; in fact, I love it so much that I wanted to be left in uncivilized island alone, trying to survive by myself. Some people say that I want to be independent because I am very emotional lately and I want to be left alone. However, I am not emotional. I want to be independent to experience the “survival” of my life and to prove to myself that I am a grown up man who is able to live alone.

I always wanted to achieve something big. I wanted to run a marathon, and I wanted to climb up the Mount Everest, I knew that climbing the Mount Everest means to risk everything including my life. However, I have a strong passion about achieving something that I will always be proud after I do it.

I have a lot of dreams. Everyone tells me that it is impossible to achieve my dreams. Also there are brick walls that block me from achieving my dreams. However, I soon realized something. The brick walls are there for a reason. Brick walls are not there to block us from achieving what we what. Brick walls are there to give us a chance to prove how badly we want to achieve that goal. Brick walls will block people who don’t want to achieve that goal badly. However, they will always let in the people who badly want to achieve that goal.

Is our life inevitable? Are we predestined? If our life is predestined, then our life is a brutal thing. Some people believe that things we do in our world are predestined and are inevitable. They believe that individuals are not responsible with their own behavior, since they can not change the future. However, I strongly believe that even if our life is inevitable, we have the right to choose what we want to do, if you have a dream and if you are passionate about making it. Us human beings are self-centered. We change our mind constantly to get something better that we want or to reach to the higher level than we are right now. We want to have everything in our world. We want the power, wealth, and health all at once. However, since they are greedy and change their mind easily, they go nowhere.

In the dictionary, “dream” is defined as aspiration, vision, objective, or goal. Dreams will guide us and will inspire us as we live. Once we have a dream, we will be making a step closer everyday towards our dream. Dreams will show us who we can be and what changes that we can make to the society or to ourselves. Lots of inventions all came up as one person’s dream. Then soon it became a reality.

Throughout my childhood, I always dreamed about scoring a try in rugby. Everybody else on my team had scored a try before. Scoring a try seemed extremely easy to all of my friends on the team. They told me that I couldn’t score a try because I was way too small. I thought that my teammates were right. Everybody else on the other team was much bigger than my size. Whenever I held a ball, they tackled me like tiny twig. Whenever they ran towards me, I was scared. Sometimes, I wanted to quit playing rugby because I thought that it seemed impossible for me to score a try. However, I never gave up and deep inside my heart, I constantly had a dream about scoring a try. Whenever I fell, I stood back up. Whenever I got tackled, I held on to the ball. Whenever I was tired, I overcame my exhaustion and lastly, whenever I got the ball, I ran as fast as I could. I ran like a metal strong powerful horse. Then one day, I felt the most magnificent feeling that I had never experienced before. I scored a try. It felt like my chest was puffing out and something inside my heart was about to explode. That feeling was unbelievably incredible! I believe that the reason why I scored a try is because I always had the dream. The dream guided me, inspired me, and it was an hope for me.

The power of us human beings seems endless as the line between the dream world and the physical world became incredibly thin. All our new inventions all started as one single person’s idea in a dream. Then the dream aspired to those people to make that dream come true. Now in our modern days, we have varieties of new inventions and new technologies that are extraordinarily incredible all around us. We are now able to fly in our bright blue sky, freely like a bird and we even have the technology to be able to travel into the space! These inventions are products from the beauty of the “Dream”

There were people all around the world who always dreamed about flying in the blue sky freely like a bird. Those individuals were desperate and were eager to fly. They absolutely tried every thing and never stopped trying to fly. However, many of them were unsuccessful and gave up with flying. Then one day, the Wright brothers have finally made an airplane. The difference between the Wright brothers and other people, who gave up in flying, is that the Wright Brothers always had dreamed about flying the sky deep inside their heart. People, who gave up in flying, wanted to fly the sky freely. However, they did not have a dream inside their hearts.

Martin Luther King Jr. also had a dream. “I have a dream that one day even the state of Mississippi, a state sweltering with the heat of injustice, sweltering with the heat of oppression, will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice. I have a dream that his four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.” That’s what Martin Luther King said in one of his speeches. His quote states that he once had a dream that there were no racism and the world was in justice. Unfortunately, Martin Luther King was murdered. However, his words soon became to settle deep inside everyone’s soul. His words soon became reality. Racism and prejudice are now beginning to fade away slowly from our society. Isn’t it incredible that even though Martin Luther King couldn’t be with us today, his words are still passing from generations to generations?

Our world always gave people a chance to accomplish something as they live. The world has given us a gift called “dream” to all of us. Some people like the Wright Brothers and Martin Luther King Jr. knew how to use this gift. On the other hand, some people seem to throw their gifts away. They never dream about the future, nor they dream about what they want to accomplish. Dreams will guide us, and are aspiration to us. Every individual will probably have a dream to do something, or dream to achieve something deep inside their heart. However I believe that they are not opening their mind to the dream inside their heart. If you don’t have a dream, or a personal goal, you will go nowhere. However, if we have a dream constantly remember it, the dream will guide our way.
