As us human beings stepped into the 21st century, we became friends with technology. Technology is everywhere. We use iphones, PDA, Laptops, Internet, etc. They are all around us. At the moment,  I’m using my laptop to “type out” this article, instead of hand writing them. People say that technology is going to be a key to success. However, is this really true?

Ever since computer was introduced into our world, everything became easier and more convenient. Writing out a document became extremely fast, and researching for the school project became incredibly easy. What happened to all those old school devices like “Paper, Pen, and book “?

I was born when the personal computer kicked into our world. I was lucky enough to be born with Windows 95. Since I was born with Computer, I was less interested in book, but was more interested in Computer. Now I am able to type a document faster than anyone in our grade, and even faster than most of my school teachers.

Now I TYPE E-mails instead of WRITING a letter. I TYPE my homework, instead of DOING them. I GOOGLE to find information, instead of READING the book. My whole life has changed. I became a technology geek. In fact, I bet every single one of you are technology geek like me.

What I believe “Technology geek” is, the person who can’t live without the usage of Technology. Imagine a day without your computer. You will probably be hopeless. Now days, we forgot the feeling of WRITING the letter word by word with your own hand, admiring your writing, your pen, and your colour of the pen.

We are slowly becoming like computer. Our brain is slowly becoming CPU instead of a brain full of philosophy. Computers might be smarter than us in mathmetically. However, our brains are full of romance, love, and emotion. Computers are not making us dumb. However, it is making us to lack in juice of emotion.

If you are living in 21st century, it is important that you know different types of coffee. In this article, I will explain 6 types of coffee that exists in our world. Espresso, Espresso Macchiato, Espresso con Panna, Cafe Latte, Flat White, Cafe Breve, Cappuccino, Caffe Mocha, and Americano are the coffees that I am going to explain.

The foundation of all these coffees are Espresso. Espresso is really strong concentrated Coffee. Same ratio of expresso to the cup is added to all the other coffees. Usually, the ratio of espresso to a cup is 1:3.

Espresso Macchiato is my favorite coffee of all time. Its not too light or its not too strong. It is just perfect for me. In this coffee, ratio of 1:4 of milk is added to the 1:3 of espresso.

Espresso Con Panna is similar to Espresso Macchiato. However, instead of Milk Foam, Whipped Cream is added. This will make the coffee more tender and softer.

Caffe Latte in italian means (coffee milk). This is similar to Cappuccino, except the ratio of milk foam and steamed milk is different. In Caffe Latte, More steam milk is added than milk foam, while in cappuccino, more milk foam is added than steamed milk.

Flat White is famous and popular among classical coffee lovers. It is an espresso, with added steamed milk only. It is probably the simpleset coffee that exists in our world.

I love Caffe Breve. It is similar with Caffe Late; However, the only difference between them is, instead of steamed milk, steamed half-and-half was added.

Everyone’s favorite coffee in our world is Cappuccino. 1/2 of the coffee is milk foam, and 1/4 of the coffee is steamed milk. Everyone loves it because it is not too strong, and it is not too light. It is just perfect for most of the coffee drinkers.

Caffe Mocha is usually loved by the teenagers. the reason is, it is made with whipped cream, steamed milk, and chocolate syrup. The beauty of this coffee is the flavour of the chocolate syrup.

Americano is probably the coffee that most of the households drink. In this coffee, simply water is added to espresso, to dillute the coffee.

If you know all these 9 types of coffee, you would probably not be afraid to step inside of starbucks. If you have a girlfriend, try to show off your coffee knowledge by treating her to starbucks XD. Cheers

In “identities” by W.D. Valgardson, the protagonist is a static and flat character, the adjective lost best describes him, both literally and figuratively. The protagonist lives in a quiet town, where the town is full of blossoming flowers, full of pleasant aroma in the streets. The adjective lost best describes him because, he belongs to no where, he leave his home to find a new place, and he was not able to adapt quickly to his new world.

The Protagonist thought that his home was boring. The reason is his home was so quiet. He wanted to experience a life in the new world. However, soon he realizes that the new world does not suit his personality, and that he belongs to no where. This is why I believe that the word Lost best descrives him.

Leaving one’s home just because of the fact that it is boring, is not what people should do. Home is the place where you are welcomed, loved, and relaxed. It is the only place in the world, where you can do anything you want. However he decides to leave his home to fit into a different world. This proves that he belongs to nowhere.

The protagonist was not able to adapt to the new world. From his point of view, the new world seemed too peculiar. He wasn’t prepared to the new world. As a result, he gets killed by the police at the end, due to the lack of experience in the new world.

The irony of this book is unbelievable. The protagonist assumes that he is able to experience new life in different world; however, he does not enjoy it, in fact, he gets killed. The irony reveals that although he is dissatisfied with his own world, he should actually be thankful to the world he lives in.

Personally, I really hate the Jonas Brothers. I just hate their voice, their sound, and their attitude. I just hate everything that relates to the Jonas Brothers. A friend of mine also hates them so much that he calls them “the Jonas F*gs”. For some reason, alot of girls in our grade just fell in love with them.

Jonas Brothers is a band, formed by 3 people. It is formed with Kevin, Nick, and Joe Jonas. They usually play pop-rock music, which are appealing to the teenagers. Disney channel was the key to their success in the music industury. If it wasn’t for the Disney channel, they would have been one of the bands who failed to be famous.

Now days, it is impossible to find a girl who hates the Jonas Brothers. Surprisingly, I know a girl who hates the Jonas Brothers. There are alot of “jonas brothers analyzers” now days. They watch their performance, and analyze them carefully. According to some analysis, on most of their live performance, they faked the guitar. Analyzers said that the sound they hear from the guitar is mostly from the back up guitars. I am not sure if this analysis is correct, but who knows?

I sometimes respect Jonas Brothers’ passion to music. However, sometimes, they are a bit of show off, while some artists like “Arctic Monkeys” always try to stay modest. I respect Jonas Brothers because they got into the music industry while they were in the teenager. However, they should always try to learn from the artists about being modest, being popular to not only to the girls, but also to the guys. Who knows? maybe Jonas Brothers will someday be in my top 10 lists in my ipod someday with their passionate music.

Believe it or not, today was thought to be the end of the world. The reason is because of the Large Hardon Collider. Large Hardon Collider is a particle collider made by CERN. Scientists from all around the world, waited for this moment. They believed that this experiment would be the key where we are able to find secrets in our world. It is also believed that when the particles collide to each other in a speed faster than the light, it would create a big bang. This is why some people fear that this might cause the end of the world.

It is proven that all the blackhole myths, or even big bang myths are irrelevent to LHC (Large Hadron Collider). All those myths are made just to make people fear about this experiment. For those of you who are reading this article, do not worry about the end of the world or armagedon.

The purpose of this experiment is to find the core of our science. The core, in which all the hidden secrets of our world is kept concealed. Everything around us is formed with matter. If we find the result of this experiment, we would be able to figure out how matters are created. This experiment is what humans have lived for. We lived for so long, but we never found out how we were created. This experiment may lead us to our world’s secret.

For those of you, who has a laptop, this article could save your laptop’s life span for at least a year more. People usually change their laptops when their battery is completely out of battery, when the hard drive messes up, when they get the blue screen of death, etc. There are other factors that you might switch this laptop. However, this article will talk about some of the solutions.

Save your Battery!

Battery is the main point of buying the laptop. Without the battery, you will lose laptop’s portability. There are a lot of people who always leave the laptop charged, and never pull out the charger out. People do this because they want their battery ready to go when they need it. However, this is really bad for your battery. Battery is like yourself. Battery must constantly be used and be recharged once it is worn out. They basically need to exercise, just like us. If you want your battery to last the longest, follow this step. Once your batter is charged, remove the power and use the battery untill it dies. Once the battery is worn out, charge it fully again and repeat this step.

Save your USB!

A lot of people just remove the USB device without performing a special “Safely Remove Hardware” task. If the USB device is the external hard drive, or even an ipod, this might cause a severe problem to both your ipod, and your laptop. In order to perform “Safely Remove Hardware” task, find “Safely Remove Hardware” icon on the taskbar. Left click the icon and press “Safely Remove USB drive”. Once there is a pop up, telling you that the device is removed safely, you may now remove your USB.

Blue screen of Death!

The worst thing you can have on your laptop is the Blue Screen OF Death, commonly known as BSOD. You would be doing some work on your computer, and then suddenly BAM! BSOD appears, and there is no turning back. Sounds pretty harsh eh? Well there is a way to prevent this. In order to prevent BSOD from appearing, Update your computer to the newest driver. In order to do so, visit the manufacturer’s site, and update your driver. Sometimes, you have to Downdate your driver, if the newest driver is laggy. However, for the most of the time, it is better to update your driver.

The Guinness book of world records has to be edited every year, due to the fact that the old record breaks every year. Why does this happen? No body knows. However, what I believe is when humans are pushed into the limit, we create a hormone that will give us a supernatural power. This hormone is called Adrenaline (Epinephrine). This hormone is generally produced when we get a serious stress, or when humans are pushed into the limit. Also they are produced when we are excited, scared, or angry about something.

There was a baby’s mom, who experienced a supernatural power. Her baby was trapped inside the car. Adrenaline pumping through her blood vassal, fearing that she might lose her baby, she attempted to lift up the car. Surprisingly, she was able to lift up the car and saved her baby! When people asked her to try lifting the car again, she was not able to do it. This proves that adrenaline gave her a supernatural power because she was pushed into the limit.

Rugby is one of the roughest sports in our world. It is nearly impossible to come back home with one piece. If you watch the professional rugby game, you can see that people get tackled rough, and they get injured. However they never stops. In fact, there was a rugby player, who broke his right leg during the game, ran the entire game without noticing his broken legs. This is the power of the adrenaline.

We have watched alot of movies with superheros, but we have never seen the real superhero. However, I believe that soon, we will be able to gain the real supernatural powers with adrenaline, when we are pushed into the limit.

Thanks to my brilliant parents, I got a new laptop just before the school started. I love my new laptop. 4GB of ram, 2.1ghz cpu, 320 GB hard drive, 3-4 hours of battery life, and over all, i love its performance. Also it uses 64 bit.

When I went to Futureshop, they did now what specs would make the computer fast, and they did not know what 64 bit technology was. Well For those of you who are looking for new computers, and are planning on buying one, this article would be just for you.

In order to get a fast computer, there are 2 things you need to worry about. They are CPUs and Rams. Just like us human beings, computers also has a brain. We call their brain CPU. For Windows, CPU is made by Intel, and AMD. They are both reliable company. In the olden days, Intel used to be a better CPU company. However, now days, AMD is also a decent company. In fact, AMD and Intel are both equally good. Technology has evolved real quick, so now, usually CPUs are usually 1.83 or higher. If the computer you are looking for is less than 1.83, DO NOT buy them. If you do buy them, it would probably be really cheap. Also it would be very slow. Try to get a computer over 2.0, because if you get a better cpu, your computer will be faster.

Summary: AMD / INTEL doesn’t matter. Buy CPUs over 2.0 if u want to buy a laptop, buy CPUs over 2.4 if you want to buy a desktop.

For laptops, Rams would be around 2gb or 3gb. These computer uses 32 bit technology. What this 32bit technology means, it uses 32 buses (Computer road on the motherboard, used to transfer information). 32 bit is good (for now… but things might change.) Usually most of the programs are designed for 32 bit technology. If you do not know about computers, then I would buy 32 bit technology, with 3gb rams. Do Not buy a computer with 4gb rams if you do not know about computers. The reason is Computers with 4gbs of Ram usually use 64 bit technology. This is twice as much as 32 bit technology one. However, this doesnt mean that it is better. It just means that it uses more “buses” to transfer information. This would be faster than 32 bit technology. However, some programs are not designed for 64 bit technology (Yet. Soon, they will probably use 64bit technology as standard).

Summary: Buy computers with 3GBs of ram, that uses 32bit technology. DO NOT buy a computer with 4GBs of ram that uses 64bit technology

Do you need a good graphic when you are photoshopping or when you are gaming? Then look for a good video card. I prefer Nvidia series better than ATI. The reason is I believe that Nvidia is more reliable company. If you want a decent graphic card, but you don’t use hardcore graphics, buy Nvidia series at least over 7000. If you want a graphic card that is able to play pretty much any games on decent level, buy a computer with graphic cards over 8000. DO NOT buy graphic cards made by Intel. Intel is a good CPU company, but their graphic cards are not good.

Summary: DO NOT buy graphic cards made by Intel. I recommend buying Nvidia Ge Force 7000 or higher

HP? Compaq? Toshiba? LG? Samsung? Dell? Which one? I would buy HP, Samsung, or LG. These 3 companies are very reliable companies. Their design is sleek, glossy looking, and their computers are generally decent. I do not recommend buying Compaq. Most of my friends who bought compaq laptops are extremely disappointed by them, becasuse Compaqs are such a trouble makers.

Personally, I love Pepsi more than Cocacola. The reason is when I say Pepsi, it sounds more appealing, it looks tastier, and I just love the taste of Pepsi. However, when people think of cola, they automatically think about Cocacola.

Cocacola was the first company to produce Cola. Then Pepsi came after Cocacola. They are both cola, but a survey shows that there are some differences. When the researchers did a blind folded experiment where people drink a sip from both Cocacola and Pepsi blind folded to see which one was better. Pepsi won the sipping rating. Researchers believe that the reason why Pepsi won the sipping contest was beause they are much sweeter.

Pepsi won the sipping contest. However would they still win the contest where the participants must drink the whole can to see which one is better? As a result, it did make a difference. Cocacola was more preferable to the people who drank the whole can, while people who drank Pepsi thought that it was too overpowering.

All in all Pepsi won the sipping contest, while Cocacola won the can contest. However, what they now need to do is to find the purpose that their consumers are buying their products. If their consumers usually take a sip instead of drinking the whole can, cola company should make their product more sweeter. However, if their consumers usually drink the whole can, cola company should make their product less sweeter, but more appealing.

In my point of view, Pepsi is successful of making numerous advertisements. However, Cocacola is lately in the hotspot, because in the movie james bond, they will use Zero Zero Seven Cocacola instead of voldka martinis. What this means is in the movie, James Bond will drink Cocacola instead of Voldka martini! This would be a huge advantage to Cocacola, since the movie itself with the cocacola will be a huge attention grabber to the kids.

Cocacola vs. Pepsi. Cola war. It is on!
